     Main Definitions

  1. witch |n| a woman who practices or is believed to practice occult magic, sorceress.
  2. warlock |n| a man who practices witchcraft or magic arts, sorcerer.
  3. wizard |n| a man with magic powers.

     Black Magic

  1. black magic |n| magic practiced for evil purposes or in league with supposed evil spirits; witchcraft.
  2. bewitch (somebody) |v| to put a magic spell on somebody.
  3. enchant |v| to attract somebody strongly and make them feel very interested, excited, etc.
  4. magical spell |n| a verbal formula believed to have magical force.
  5. "He whispered a spell as he moved his hands."

  7. otherworldly |n| concerned with spiritual thoughts and ideas rather than with ordinary life.

  1. broom |n| a brush on the end of a long handle, used for sweeping floors.
  2. broomstick |n| a broom with a long handle and small thin sticks at the end, or the handle of a broom. In stories witches (women with evil magic powers) ride through the air on broomsticks.
  3. cauldron |n| a large deep pot for boiling liquids or cooking food over a fire.
