School Teachers

       Main Types of Teachers

  1. master (1) |UK| |n| in infant school: teacher.
  2. master (2) |UK| |n| in secondary school: profesor.
  3. teacher |n| a person whose occupation is teaching.
  4. "A high school teacher."
  5. teacher governor |n| a teacher who has also been elected to his or her school's board of governors.
  6. substitute teacher |US| / supply teacher / teacher on call (T.O.C.) / relief teacher / casual teacher |UK| |n| is a person who teaches in a school class when the regular teacher is unavailable.
