- tinsel |n| a decoration consisting of thin strips of shiny metal foil, traditionally used at Christmas.

- Christmas tree |n| a pine or fir tree which is decorated with ornaments and lights during the Christmas period.
- mistletoe |n| a parasitic plant with white berries, traditionally used as a Christmas decoration.
